Fortunately for us, we have a very, very talented webmaster in former Marine and Life Member CC Kate Stark. She continues to pleasantly surprise us on a daily basis. On February 4 we launched PayPal services and the capability of using the site to pay for dues, sales, conference registrations, contributions, Merit Sponsorship payments and for Journal ads. I want to assure you this is a necessary adjunct to doing Association and Foundation business; one that most successful organizations employ for their members. It is safe, secure and practical in the day-to-day operations of the USMCCCA. A quote from one of our bankers at Coastal Bank and Trust of Florida: “Those members who are afraid of entrusting their credit card information to this format would willingly give up their cards to a restaurant server – certainly one of the most insecure of practices.” I encourage you to use it.
