Looking for a possible collection of WWII stories

George Chrisman writes:  Have you ever  heard of a blue book that was perhaps a collection of maybe newspaper stories (Stars and Stripes?) about Marines in WWII? I have a doctor friend whose father was on Choiseul Island with Brute Krulack. Supposedly there are accounts of the fighting there. Would any of our older members have knowledge of or perhaps have written the stories included in it?  The father, John Erotas, thinks it was a book distributed to Marines around that time.

If you have any information please contact CCHQ.
