Life Member A. J. "Tony" Scaran, 82, died April 8 at his home in Orange, CA of complications attributed to Agent Orange. A long-time supporter of this Association, his A. J.'s Publishing Company ad was a mainstay in our annual Conference Journal.

Trudy Ehlbeck, 75, of Port Orange, Florida passed away on May 23, 2013 after a battle with leukemia. Trudy was also a breast cancer survivor. She was a special wife, mother, homemaker, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed. Trudy met her husband, Hank while working at Life Magazine and they had been married since 1959. When she wasn't running a family, Trudy was an avid gardener, having won awards at local garden shows.

Bill Lansford , 90, a Latino Marine and Army veteran who sought to bring honor to the contributions of other Latinos who served in the nation’s wars, died May 22 at his Playa del Rey home.
