O'Neal transplant surgery successful
The long-awaited kidney transplant surgery for Foundation President Don O'Neal went off like clockwork on Thursday, June 13 in San Antonio, TX and he and his donor daughter are doing very well. CCHQ had an early morning call Friday from Don's wife, Yvette, reporting that all went well and that he was currently in intensive care. Tropical Storm Andrea tried its best but failed to stop play in the 9th Annual USMCCCA Foundation (Florida Chapter) Golf Tournament Friday, June 7. Elhbeck: Fla Chapter member Trudy passes
Trudy Ehlbeck, 75, of Port Orange, Florida passed away on May 23, 2013 after a battle with leukemia. Trudy was also a breast cancer survivor. She was a special wife, mother, homemaker, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed. Trudy met her husband, Hank while working at Life Magazine and they had been married since 1959. When she wasn't running a family, Trudy was an avid gardener, having won awards at local garden shows.
