Mehringer takes new post
Recently retired Phil Mehringer , will soon take up his new post as a Veterans Outreach Coordinator in the Office of the Registrar at East Tennessee State University. He says, " The reason I came to ETSU is because they have a great Veterans Affairs program and I hope to enhance and add to what they’ve already done here. Rosenthal to be honored Oct. 9
A bronze plaque honoring Joe Rosenthal , photographer of “Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima,” will be dedicated at the National Museum of the Marine Corps , 18900 Jefferson Davis Highway, Triangle, Virginia, on October 9, 2013, the 102nd anniversary of his birth. Morrison nets Lou Lowery Award
" The Lou Lowery Award" - LCpl. Jason Morrison is presented the Leatherneck Magazine Lou Lowery award August 16 for best photo appearing in the magazine during 2012 by lst Marine Division CG Maj.
