The Executive Director has received a very "good news" update regarding our Life Member and "Emcee Extraordinaire" Pat Coulter . In a telephone conversation Thursday with Jerie, she said he was napping at the time but that, while the road was very long, Pat was coming along beautifully. "He drives himself to speech therapy and is participating in Mass each week. He is walking six miles a day and, while his balance isn't what it used to be, he is making great progress." Jerie

Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel announced today that the president has made the following nomination: Marine Corps Gen. Joseph F. Dunford Jr., for appointment to the rank of general and for assignment as the 36th commandant of the Marine Corps, Washington, District of Columbia.
