Torres: Bob passes after long illness
Robert Daniel “Bob” Torres , the long-time Public Affairs Officer for NAS Corpus Christi, passed away Wednesday evening after a long illness. Bob had gone out on extended medical leave in February and, as his condition worsened, left Federal civilian service in June. Bob served in the US Marine Corps from 1972 to 1993, spending most of his career in public affairs and retiring with the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. Uncle honored by Denig Memorial
