The 2010 Annual Dedicated Member campaign has ended with a bang! Nearly $5,000 has been donated to the Foundation by 51 VERY dedicated members and we appreciate it. These CCs will find their names in the 2010 Annual Conference Journal now being readied for print. Foundation President Don O'Neal and the Foundation Board sincerely appreciate the response.

When not working on the website, I am a page designer for the New York Times International Weekly and the Large Print Weekly ... so imagine my interest when during a budget meeting last week, an article on Combat Artists came up. John Hampton, the retired Marine lieutenant colonel who in the late 1940s used his communications savvy to help launch the Marines' famous "Toys for Tots" program that is still going strong, died Sunday at Deer Hill Care Home. He was 103.
