In order to stimulate reservations in light of the Marine Corps' announced departure from our 2012 Conference, the Crowne Plaza Hotel has reduced the previously announced nightly rate from $131 to $114.  CCHQ is encouraging all who plan to attend to go ahead with their reservations.  If you have previously registered simply call the hotel and make the change.  The conference will open with meetings, panels and seminars at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 12.  Meetings will con

CCHQ was advised by the Deputy Director of Information at HQMC July 3 that the Public Affairs Leadership Conference for 2012 in San Diego has been cancelled.  We have also been advised by the Director of Public Affairs, Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC) that their anticipated participation with the PA Leadership Conference has also been cancelled. We have been more or less expecting this.  As most know, the government has mandated massive military budget cuts.  More rec

As the man once said, "now is the time to"… start thinking of this years' conference at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in San Diego September 10-14.   So, if you're thinking of it, think Hawaiian.  The old Hana Lei Hotel is now the completely rejuvenated Crowne Plaza but it still retains its Hawaiian origins.
