Lodder: DVIDS Journalist of the Month
Cpl Reese Lodder was named DVIDS Journalist of the Month for September 2011. His photos of U.S. Marines training for an upcoming deployment made Cpl. Reece Lodder stand out as a top of journalist in September and ultimately resulted in him being selected as the DVIDS Journalist of the Month for September. Lodder previously submitted under Marine Corps Base Hawaii—Kaneohe Bay but is now with the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment. He soon will be chronicling missions in Afgha

OOORAHs to 2009 Thomas Jefferson Award Winners
Marines have netted two of the top spots in the annual DoD Thomas Jefferson Awards competition. One of the Marines is CC member, S taff Sgt. Luis R. Agostini who was named the 2009 DoD Print Journalist of the Year. Agostini is a frequent name here on the site (to read more about him click here .) Perkins Combat Cameraman of the Year goes to Cpl Tyson Holm
This years' winner of the Corporal William T. Perkins Award Combat Cameraman of the Year is Cpl Tyson H. Holm of the 3D Marine Division (REIN).
