Two CCs WIA in Afghanistan
CCHQ has been advised that two combat correspondents have been wounded in action in Afghanistan in recent months. Sgt. Dorian Gardner , previously with the 2nd Marine Division, is now with the Wounded Warrior Battalion-West. Cpl. Eugenio Montanez Jr ., is currently back on duty with the 1st Marine Division. Both are now eligible for Honorary Life Membership as recipients of the Purple Heart Medal.
