Michael Neumann's wife, Susan passes

Family, Friends, and Colleagues,

It is with deep sadness that I am writing to tell you that Susan – my wife, best friend, and love – passed away last evening, 24 June, due to complications from surgery that she underwent earlier this week. --Michael

and then,

BrigGen. Cliff Stanley

led us to our Pentagon digs in 1997.  His wife Susan was a cherished friend and supporter of the Corps and a military historian in her own right.

• Visitation:  Thursday, 30 June from 6-8pm at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 West Braddock Road, Alexandria, VA

• Mass of Christian Burial:  Friday, 1 July at 10:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1427 West Braddock Road, Alexandria, VA

• Interment: Saturday, 2 July at 12 noon at Fairview Cemetery in Mercersburg, PA (just SE of town on PA Hwy 16)
