The late Maj. Robert B. "Mo" Morrisey , USMCCCA's first Executive Director and later its President, will be inducted into the Mount Soledad Veterans Memorial on Saturday, September 15 at 10 a.m. Attendees at the 2012 USMCCCA Conference at the Crowne Plaza Hotel will be transported by bus from the hotel at 9 a.m. on Saturday.  The ceremonies will feature the ceremonial induction unit from Mount Soledad and will last approximately one hour.  Those attending from the San Diego

Denig Sr., his "Demons" and all CCs at the National Museum of the Marine Corps is now completely paid for. Brig. Gen. Daniel D. Yoo , Commanding General, MCRD San Diego and the Western Recruiting Region, has been named guest of honor for the 2012 USMCCCA Annual Merit Awards Banquet, Thursday, September 13 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. A Marine warrior, Brig. Gen. Yoo was twice decorated with the Bronze Star Medal for combat action.  Additional decorations include the Legion of Merit.  He is a Marine Combatant Diver, a Military Freefall Parachutist and is a graduate of the U.
