Fl Chapter Golf Tourney closer
The Florida Chapter of the USMCCCA will hold it's 7th annual benefit golf tournament on 3 June 2011 . The tournament will be held at Ridgewood Lakes Golf and Country Club in Davenport,FL. The tournament features an 0800 shot gun start, putting contest and lunch. As always the tournament is "kicked off" by a presentation of colors by a Marine Color Guard from the Marine Reserve Unit in Orlando, FL. Purple Heart Criteria Amended
This MARADMIN specifically revises the award criteria for mild traumatic brain injury/concussions and is retroactive to Sept. 11, 2001. The revisions contained within this MARADMIN will have a major impact on a sizable population of young Operation Enduring Freedom(OEF)/Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) vets who previously may have been ineligible for the Purple Heart including members of the Combat Correspondents Association.
