The USMCCCA Foundation is seeking a member or spouse of a member with an accounting or bookkeeping background to serve as voluntary treasurer of the USMCCCA Foundation. Due to increasing duties as a master instructor at the Defense Information School (DINFOS) John Dodd has asked to be relieved of the Treasurer duties. An ambitious memorial project launched by the rejuvenated San Diego Chapter will honor twice-USMCCCA president and its first executive director, the late Robert "Mo" Morrisey . "Project Mo" will culminate with the placing of a commemorative plaque, photo and inscription on San Diego's Mount Soledad in La Jolla during the USMCCCA annual conference September 2012. Cpl Reese Lodder was named DVIDS Journalist of the Month for September 2011. His photos of U.S. Marines training for an upcoming deployment made Cpl. Reece Lodder stand out as a top of journalist in September and ultimately resulted in him being selected as the DVIDS Journalist of the Month for September.
