Two Combat Camera Marines die in Nepal crash
Friends, I have waited until today for official word and notification to families out of respect for my brother and sister. We are still down range as I write this. On May 12 a UH-1Y helicopter from HMLA 469 carrying two of my hard charging COMCAM Marines crashed high in a mountainous area in Nepal. All souls on board were lost; six Marines and two Nepali soldiers. They were on a mission to help save lives and reduce suffering after a second massive earthquake hit the country

Dedicated Member Campaign at Halfway Point

Foundation's Florida Chapter Golf Tournament Nets $4k
Sanctuary Ridge, Clermont, FL In spite of a change of golf courses, an increase in fees and a diminished field of golfers, the 11th annual Foundation (Florida Chapter) Golf Tournament on May 1 can be considered a success. New USMCCCA logo on gear, ready for orders
A number of years ago we developed a USMCCCA Store jointly with Queensboro Shirt Company of Wilmington, NC. Basically, we were looking for quality clothing that would identify wearers as members of the USMCCCA. We developed what some might call a "sport" logo with the letters USMCCCA on the flag over the Eagle, Globe and Anchor.
