DivPA to conduct remembrance at Arlington Cemetery, Oct 8

On Thursday, 8 October 2009, DivPA will conduct a remembrance at Arlington National Cemetery and a subsequent gathering at Pentagon Row. DivPA personnel will visit three gravesites in order to learn about the fallen and appreciate the sacrifice of those who have preceded us. At each grave a Marine will lead the discussion about the deceased. All CCs are invited to attend.

• 1430 - Assemble at ANC Visitor Center – outside the main pedestrian entrance off Memorial Drive. • 1435 - Receive welcome brief from ANC PA office • 1450 - Depart Visitor Center for Maj McClung’s grave • 1500 - Arrive at Maj McClung’s grave. Lt Thomas will lead discussion. • 1520 - Maj Dent will lead discussion about Cpl Salazar • 1540 – Depart, enroute to next site. • 1550 - Arrive at LtCol Peter Ortiz’s grave.
