Nominations Made for USMCCCA Board of Directors

The nominations period for the reelection of officers and two vacant Director positions for the United States Marine Corps Combat Correspondents Association ended at 1700 May 15, 2013.  All incumbent officer positions faced no opposition and were automatically nominated for one year terms. There were two nominations for the two vacant Director positions thus precluding the necessity for an absentee ballot.  The two nominees for two year directorships were: Tom Kerr, Life Member and former USMCCCA Treasurer. Cal Openshaw, Life Member, who is currently filling the unexpired term of Bill Hauptfleisch, who was elected President last year. The USMCCCA Board of Directors have unanimously approved this slate for consideration at the Annual Business Meeting, July 25 at Andrews AFB, MD.
