DINFOS is looking for a Combat Camera/Visual Information warrior to teach in the Public Affairs Leadership Department (PALD). The selectee will attend Defense Information School's three-week Instructor Training Course and will participate in a robust mentorship practicum within the department. The Job Opportunity Announcement (DMA-15-1267690-B), opened on Friday, December 12, 2014 and closes on Monday, December 29, 2014. From the job announcement: "Instruct basic, intermediate and advanced level visual information courses in the following areas: Visual information theory and impact; deployed operations; basic still photography techniques; new and emerging media tools; public affairs planning; use of video, still and graphic assets in strategic communications; legal and budget implications;  and joint combat camera leadership." This is a GS-1712-11 (starting pay of at least $63k per annum includes D. C. area locality pay).
