Frank Burke hands history over to Fred Lash
CC President Don O'Neal has announced the retirement of long-time USMCCCA Historian, Frank Burke , and the appointment of immediate past president, Fred "Flash" Lash , as his successor. While Frank is retiring he has agreed to remain Historian Emeritus. "As long as I can remember Frank has served as our historian," O'Neal said. " We are fortunate that he has chosen not to simply retire, but rather has elected to continue to serve the association as Historian Emeritus.

Rosenthal Chapter hosts Recon Marine
1stSgt Anthony Gabriel from 4th Force Recon Alameda attended the Joe Rosenthal Chapter USMCCCA meeting, Oct. 20th at the Oakland , Alameda Yacht Club. 1st Sgt Gabriel saw 3 tours in Iraq and will probably see duty in Afghanistan in the near future. 1stSgt Gabriel told the Chapter he will be available to help with the Toys for Tots Drive held yearly by the Rosenthal Chapter. CC Vets attend reunion at the National Press Club
