CC President Don O'Neal has announced the retirement of long-time USMCCCA Historian, Frank Burke , and the appointment of immediate past president, Fred "Flash" Lash , as his successor.  While Frank is retiring he has agreed to remain Historian Emeritus.   "As long as I can remember Frank has served as our historian," O'Neal said.  " We are fortunate that he has chosen not to simply retire, but rather has elected to continue to serve the association as Historian Emeritus.

Eugenio Montanez   sustained injuries during combat operations in Afghanistan and is currently at the National Naval Medical Center in Besthesda. His wife and mother are present with him.
