John Funk Jr ., President, Skyline, Orange County, CA, and son of the late CC MGySgt. John Funk , Virginia Beach, VA, stands by the banner display his company has donated to the USMCCCA in his father’s name.  The banner will be displayed at all Conferences.

Currently there are only 15 rooms left for our use at the Crowne Plaza Hampton Marina for the 2009 conference 14-18 Sept. If you know of anyone who has not registered with the hotel suggest they do it ASAP. The nearest overflow hotel is about 5 miles away at the convention center area. Your 2009 hotel rates at Hampton’s Crowne Plaza Hotel will be $81, a definite bargain in this day and age. and should help boost attendance at the September 14-18 event Members are encouraged

Members are asking about airlines and airports serving our conference site in Hampton, VA.  Both Newport News and the Norfolk Airports are within 12 miles of the Crowne Plaza Hotel , our conference site.  Hotel van service is not available.  Taxi service is $35 from Norfolk, and $25 from Newport News.  Most major airlines serve these airports.
