Rosenthal chapter minutes posted

Joe Rosenthal CC's had the pleasure of meeting another active duty Marine at their September 16th meeting at the Oakland Yacht Club.

Cpl. Ryan Andrews, 23, Supply NCO for the I&I Staff, 4th Force Recon Co., in Alameda. Andrews from St Louis Mo., related that he has been a Marine for three years and has completed a two year tour of duty at Camp Fuji, Japan where he worked in the Supply Section at the maneuver, training and weapons firing range base 2200 feet up the approaches to Mt Fuji.

It is always a good time associating with our active duty Marines. Cpl. Andrews was accompanied to the meeting by Ken and Dorothy Goulardt. Ken and Dorothy are long time Rosenthal Chapter Members. Ken is a Marine Veteran of many Pacific campaigns including Guadalcanal. We would like to thank Cpl. Andrews for visiting our meeting. Cpl Andrews was presented a Joe Rosenthal cover at the meeting end.
