
Staff Sergeant Tiffany K. Carter
Instructor, Basic P.A. Specialist – Broadcaster Staff Sergeant Tiffany K. Carter was born in Napa, California, and
earned two associates in applied science degrees from Heald Business College before enlisting in the Marine Corps in July 1999.

Upon completion of her training at MCRD Parris Island, S.C., Staff Sergeant Carter reported to the Defense Information School for training as a combat correspondent and broadcaster. Her first assignment was to American Forces Network Tokyo aboard Yokota Air Base, Japan. While there, Staff Sergeant Carter worked in the radio, television production and news sections, serving both in the studio and as a field reporter, covering stories on
Guam, Australia, and throughout mainland Japan.
In December 2003, Staff Sergeant Carter was assigned to Marine Corps Recruiting Station Frederick, Md., where she served as the unit’s Marketing and Public Affairs Chief until reporting to the Defense Information School in July 2007.
Staff Sergeant Carter’s personal decorations include the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. She has attained her gray belt in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program and has won numerous awards for her television and radio reporting. She is currently enrolled in the Baltimore School of Massage’s Professional Massage Training Program to become a Certified Massage Therapist.
Staff Sergeant Carter has one daughter, Angelica Marie.
