Looking for a writer to finish Cy O’Brien’s book

Military Historical Tours is looking for a writer to bring to fruition a book started by the late Cy O’Brien on his many trips with that travel organization.

General requirement: This manuscript now needs a writer with the passion of Cy O’ Brien to pull it all together, and give it birth. The requirements, as outlined by MHT President Warren Wiedhahn, are few.  He feels it should be a Marine Corps writer who has experienced the horrors of war and gone on some of the Military Historical Tours that Cy wrote about. He/she should also be prepared to visit some of the historical sites.  Other than that, the writer will have full rein to pull the book together for publication.

Specific requirement: It is requested that those writers who are “genuinely” interested, and feel that they are fully qualified, to submit a contract proposal to Wiedhahn who will personally review each one, talk to the prospective writer and ultimately make a decision on the writer to assume the tasks of bringing the research and writing of Cy O’Brien’s book, “Going Back”, to the light of day.

Compensation: The selected writer will be compensated in accordance with a contract mutually agreed upon, based on many factors to include experience, other published work and the “passion” for Military History that Cy O’Brien possessed!

Proposals can be submitted to Warren Wiedhahn, Colonel USMC (Ret), President/CEO Military Historical Tours, 13198 Centerpointe Way, Ste 202, Woodbridge, VA 22193-5285.  Tel. 703-590-1295
