Happy Birthday Chuck! Chuck’s turning 84, and we’re planning a birthday bash. (For the few of you who don’t know, Chuck Beveridge is the USMCCCA art director and designs the Conference Journal and most of the ads in it, each year. He is ridiculously talented.)
But, hey, it’s Chuck, so of course there’s a twist. The man wants to return to Iwo Jima where he fought and was wounded 65 years ago. Instead of the usual birthday presents, we’ll be collecting donations to help send him back at the end of February with the Military History guided tour.
The party will be come-and-go, 2 p.m.- 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22 at the home of Bill and Ann Caton, 2120 Partridge Berry Road , Hoover , AL 35244 . Heavy Hors D’oeuvres, soft drinks, and, of course, birthday cake will be provided.
