Iwo Jima 64th Anniversary to be held Feb. 25

The Iwo Jima 64th Anniversary at Marine Memorial San Francisco wil be held Feb. 25. 2009 at 11:30 a.m.
In 1945, the epic battle of Iwo Jima was waged, and from that small island, the WWII legacy of Marines and Corpmen was firmly established. There will be a cocktail reception followed by a commemorative service and luncheon. The cost is $35 for club members, and complimentary for Iwo Jima veterans plus spouse.
